Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.

Cambria Hebert owns and operates Cambria Hebert Books, LLC.

{Rating} 5/5 - I loved it!

"Being nervous was stupid." (page 1, line 1)
Such a cute story. I loved the dual POVs, a smart heroine with a soft heart who learns to come out of her shell, a hero who struggles between what he's always wanted and what he learns is now so precious, a slow, sweet and sexy romance, a fast paced storyline, and a one eyed cat who stole my heart.

The hero and heroine, Romeo and Rimmel, were fabulous. Rimmel is girl on the outside, a loner. She has one place she really feels at home, the animal shelter where she volunteers, but everywhere else she's trying to blend in, to be unnoticed. And then she's forced into the spotlight by Romeo, a guy who basks in the adoration of the whole campus. I liked watching her journey, her struggles with letting people get close to her, to not repeating the mistakes of her past, and then feeling confident and secure in who she is.

Romeo doesn't make the best first impression. He's the big man on campus and he's living it up, partying, girls, rushing the most exclusive frat on campus, and stuck with a nerd as a tutor. As the story progresses and I saw inside his head, his motivations and seeing the way he is with Rimmel, showed me that he was deep down a sweet, caring, good guy.

I liked Romeo and Rimmel together. They compliment and challenge each other. Romeo is arrogant and used to getting his own way. Rimmel isn't a pushover; she's completely unlike anyone he's ever met. Though the bet is what sets their romance into motion I enjoyed watching Romeo actually take notice of a girl for more than just what she can do to/with him and seeing, despite her purposely frumpy exterior, a beautiful girl, and not wanting her to change a thing about her.

I'm very excited that #Nerd is only the first installment in Romeo and Rimmel's story, I can't wait to find out what happens next in #Hater.
